A very rare Shimano Match Dyna Balance 390FA 13ft match fishing rod, presented in superb original preloved condition.

This is actually the first example of this particular Shimano model we have ever had through the shop, and it is an extremely interesting high-quality match rod.

Built on a very high-quality carbon blank, the rod is 13ft / 3.96m, has a maximum casting weight of 20g and features a hollow tip.

One of its most distinctive features is the unusual continental-style reel fitting, using a quality Fuji clasp reel seat rather than the more conventional reel seat arrangement found on many British-style match rods.

The rod remains in superb original condition and has never been broken, rewhipped or repaired.

A cracking find for the Shimano enthusiast, collector of quality match tackle, or angler looking for something considerably less common than the usual Shimano match rods.
